I installed 3.6 this morning, and it was the only change that I made to my system and I could no longer export from lightroom, nor could I use a 3rd party plug in which is what I was attempting to do at first.
The tec support person had me remove the 3rd party app as though that was what stopped LR from working. He did not listen to me throughout the entire support call. I usually wait before downloading and do some research first, but the last couple of times never heard of any problems, so I trusted Adobe on this one. Well, back to waiting before downloading and installing. Now my LR does not work at all and the response was that I had made changes in my preferences which is why LR no longer works.
Not sure how that works out, but that is the reason that I was given.
Called back and was told they would call back, and then they hung up on me!
Tech support is not very supportive lately! It is the customer’s fault even though it was working before the new update!
Yep, not happy right now as I was told by doing an uninstall of 3.6 I could go back to 3.5. That was wrong also, now have to do new install and start all over!
David, I would see if the excellent moderators over at lightroomforums.net can help you troubleshoot this.
