The Lightroom team has announced the availability of the release candidates for Lightroom 4.4. Release candidates are made available before official releases in order to get broader community testing and feedback. This release contain bug fixes, new camera support, as well as much-improved support for cameras with Fuji X Trans sensors. (Check out the quality difference in DPReview’s review here.)

The link to download the update is on Adobe Labs. As usual, if you don’t have one of these cameras and the bug fixes don’t impact you, I would recommend waiting for the official release of 4.4.
The Adobe Camera Raw 7.4. release candidate is also available.
That’s good advice to wait for the final release. I don’t think I’ve seen that caution from others. In this case 4.4RC, I think waiting is warranted.
The scroll wheel movement of sliders won’t work with left click anymore. I hear a centre click will work but I’m already reverted back to 4.3. I hope they fix this for the final release.
