Did you know that you can use Lightroom Classic together with the free Lightroom app on Apple and Android mobile devices? You can also use Lightroom Classic with Lightroom web. These work together as part of the Creative Cloud Photography Plan subscription you’re already paying for, so why not take advantage of them?
Use Lightroom mobile for tablets and phones to:
- Effortlessly get your mobile-device photos into Lightroom Classic (and any editing you do on them in mobile) on an ongoing basis
- Sync collections of photos from Classic to mobile and work on them on the go (add flags and stars, edit). Your work automatically syncs back to Classic. (Keywording and album creation on mobile don’t sync to Classic, so don’t waste time on these tasks on mobile.)
With Lightroom web:
- Use a web-browser version of Lightroom in case you’re away from home and don’t have a laptop with you. Import and edit photos and have those photos and work sync to Classic.
- Sync collections of photos from Classic to Lightroom web. Your work automatically syncs back to Classic (except keywords and album creation).
In the video tutorial below I show you how to use Lightroom mobile and web with Lightroom Classic. This video is one of 101 in my Lightroom 5, 6 and Classic 7: The Fundamentals & Beyond video series, providing 22 hours of training for beginners and experienced users – do check it out (Videos for sale are larger and are not blurry.)
For best quality, after hitting Play click on the sprocket wheel in the bottom right and choose 720/HD.
