I am pleased and honored to announce that I will be teaching a 3-day Lightroom 4 Fundamentals workshop for creativeLIVE,
Thursday, March 29 through Saturday, March 31, 9 am – 4 pmPacific Time.
This will be a FREE live broadcast over the web, so you can tune in from just about anywhere!
Lightroom 4 Fundamentals
In this three day workshop, learn the fundamentals of Lightroom 4, concentrating on the Library, Map and Develop modules where you organize, edit, and fix and enhance your photos and videos. Learn how to import and organize your photos and videos; evaluate and assign keywords, map location and other information to them; find them, and fix and enhance them. Learn how to work more efficiently by working on multiple photos at once and using presets. Learn how to create jpeg and other copies of your photos to share with others, how to email directly from Lightroom, and how to upload photos directly to Facebook and other services. Finally, get an overview of all that is new in Lightroom 4.
Note that if you are using Lightroom 3 (or even Lightroom 2), I believe you will still find this very useful! Most of the core “fundamentals” functionality is the same. Lightroom 4 has added new tools, but changed very few ways of doing things. The one exception is the Basic Panel controls in Lightroom 4 — these are different and require a different approach — but I will either also explain the Lightroom 3 controls, or point viewers to a resource on my blog.
I hope you will be able to join us! Click here for more information and to enroll. And if you aren’t familiar with creativeLIVE’s extensive offering of photography workshops, do look through their other offerings!
