If you have ever tried to find a lens profile in the Lens Corrections panel for lenses for an Olympus, Sony, Fuji, or other mirrorless or compact camera, you know that there are none available. That said, you don’t have to create a custom lens profile. Photographs from these cameras are too distorted to use without corrections applied, so Lightroom applies these corrections automatically rather than giving you the choice of whether to apply them or not. If you are using Lightroom 6 or CC and you leave “Enable Profile Corrections” unchecked, you’ll see a message at the bottom of the Lens Corrections panel stating, “Built-in Lens Profile applied.” Note that this message will not appear if you check “Enable Profile Corrections” or if you are using a smart preview – nevertheless the built-in profile is still applied.
If you still see barrel or pincushion distortion or lens vignetting, which are issues that lens profiles are designed to fix, then you can go to the Manual tab and use the Distortion and Vignetting sliders to apply stronger corrections.

Thanks for sharing that inf, appreciate it and which is fine for me except nothing appears in the exif box for the lens used to take the image. I find this frustrating, this happens also if I use an adapter and non native lenses. Case in point is my Laowa 15mm f4 manual lens and adapter fixed by the manufacturer. Cannot even find an equivalent and when viewed in LT6.6 sometimes the horizon is wobbly. The only cure is to troll in lens corrections module and the nearest profile I found is a 50mm Canon lens!!!!
I’d suggest creating your own lens profile, Victor, or using the manual correction sliders (Vignetting and Distortion) found on the Manual tab of the Lens Corrections panel.

in LR 6.6 I the information button won’t say anymore that automatic lens correction is applied on Olympus MFT lenses. Additionally I found other bugs in the color temp section where the slider often hangs.
LR update become more and more a nightmare. Seems Adobe tries to force customers to switch to CC software rental-plans. But I don’t need Photoshop. Want to purchase a software paying once, no monthly fees.

You can see if the next update resolves your bugs, and if not, report them here. Regarding the lens correction, uncheck “Enable Lens Corrections” and see if the message appears – if so, it’s working as designed.
You are not encountering bugs because Adobe is trying to get people to switch to the subscription. The subscription program is the same program you are using, except that you are locked out of CC-only features.
